Hi there,
I just downloaded the demo version from the official site, and I just can't seem to get any audio coming out of my system.
I have an M Audio Audiophile 2496 in a Digital Village PC...the drivers are installed properly, and I have selected them from the Preferences page, however still no audio coming out (ie to listen to the demo) whether I run Ableton on its own, or whether its in slave Rewire mode with Cubase SX.
I have also tried switching to different outputs in the M Audio Patchbay/Router program, but still no joy.
I apologise for the basic nature of this problem, but I don't know what to try next....is it potentially a driver problem with my soundcard, or have I overlooked something simple?
Basic problem...can't hear any audio...can anyone help pls?

That was the first thing that I checked, and no, the inputs/outputs in the M Audio utility program are not muted.
Ableton Live is the only audio program that causes me such a problem.
Can you think of what else it could be?
I'd be grateful for your help as I really would like to try Live out before considering purchasing it (and moving away from Acid)...the idea of being able to use Rewire to work with Cubase is almost a reason!
