I was fiddling with Live and FL Studio to compare them in different features yesterday
If it doesn't require a major reprogramming of the engine, then I'd suggest adding internal controllers such as knobs,buttons, sliders and xy pads like in FL. It could be added as a global "effect", so it would be able to control for example different racks' macros and etc... Would be a dashboard for Live
And it would have different templates, like a "Zebra 2 quick" template would include 16 knobs, 8 sliders, and 4 xy pads, etc... Users would be able to create their own templates, aswell
I don't want it to be rushed to the next update, I just hope that you'll keep this in mind when developing additional features
