Ableton for IPhone

I would like to see a single session Ableton instrument app (Operator, Analog, Tension, etc) with a touch keyboard, some effects and a 1-track sequencer for IPhone. With preset import/export off course.

make the interface that we have all seen on youtube a real app and that would just be hot...

As for sequencers, turns out there's a bunch now.

iTunes doesn't have a subcategory for sequencers so wading through the rest of their apps is tedious. Type "sequencer" in your iTunes search bar and then click on "Apps" and it will give you a single page of all their sequencers.

Well, I have seen those. My original post was referring to a native standalone Ableton app. Not a controller for the computer version nor another synth app. I would like to make Operator or Analog patches on the go without pulling up my Macbook Pro. Ya digg?!

4-track would be great but I don´t know if the IPhone can take that cpu pounding.

it could probably handle 4 tracks but could it handle 4 tracks + all the zany effects and automation? Prolly not.

The iphone is actually a fairly powerful device and probably can do more than your PC from 10 years ago could do.

so 1 instrument + max 2 fx chain (with Looper in there it would be crazy) and 4-track seq. Keep it to max 4 bars clips and some sort of song arranger. Come on Abes!
