Live 8.0.1 (PC) - Unable to change sample frequency setting

I am encountering difficulties changing between the various sample frequencies in the Audio tab of the options panel.
I am unable to reselect 44100hz once changed from that setting. Only 48000 and 88200hz are selectable and I cannot get sound with 96000hz. My soundcard is a Mackie Onyx firewire interface and the audio driver is the latest, running on WinXP Pro SP3.

Can anyone else report similar problems?
