Rendering

Post by lyxl202 » Tue Apr 14, 2009 6:16 pm

After I render a song to disc and send it via email there is a buzzing noise in the backround. How do I fix this annoying mess?

Never had this problem, what type of computer are you using? Which version of Ableton are you running? Bummer-

I changed to 16bit and it works. But isn't 24 or 36bit ideal? I am running ableton 6 on a dell:(

Yeah 24 or 36bit is ideal, is it a newer dell?

One more thought are you rendering as WAV or MP3?

Recently I had a quite astonishing experience with rendering in Live.
The setting for the project was 32 bit at 96 kHz and so was the audio recorded.
Rendering was with 16 bit at 44.1 kHz. The result had nothing to do with what I had heard previously on the master track. Consulting the abletonians I've learned that the settings for the rendering changes the complete internal handling of the Live set. The solution in my case was to render with the original settings and do a re-rendering of the result with the desired values. It worked for me and might be good to know for others. Maybe it solves your problem too.

Are you sure you are not sending it by Bee-Mail?

Sorry.

Thank you all for your help. I am rendering to WAV format. My Dell is about 3yrs old:( But I use an external drive to save space.
