I have an audio clip that I cut and put in session view.
What I would like is for live to create a new "wav" file for the clip I want.
Is there a way for live to do this?

freeze the track, it will put a 32 bit floating point wav file into the 'processed' directory. or file-render (check the manual) from session view to whatever kind of wav file you want.
