Am I mad, or does Looper only allow you to export a bounced-down output of the results?!
Surely it would be incredibly preferable to be able to export the separate tracks?
Separated track export for Looper!!!
Re: Separated track export for Looper!!!
Agreed, it is a big limitation of looper.
I like loopers interface and how it works but the fact that it only allows export to a clip as one file no matter how many overdubs you do is a big deficiency. Would be good if this could be sorted in an update.

Re: Separated track export for Looper!!!
Yeah, this is kinda putting me off upgrading. It seems fun for Improvising and being creative, but once you've nailed it, you're probably gonna have to record it all again layer by layer so you can adjust the levels and channel settings.
Is there any way you could set up ableton using the midi map and a foot switch to do what looper does but moving to a new channel per take?
I'd love to hear some thoughts.

Re: Separated track export for Looper!!!
The hole point with looper is to mash it all up. I you want to separate it in different tracks use session or arrangement view. Why have a plug that does the same thing as the app?!
Ableton 9.2 Suite + Push, Elektron Octratrack, Nord Lead A1, Nord Drum 2 + Nord Pad, Mono Evolver Desktop, microKorg, SidStation, Nanoloop 1.3-2.01, Mackie 1402 VLZPro, Edirol FA-66
Re: Separated track export for Looper!!!
The Looper is the only device that makes this possible with one-button-interface. Session view doesn't offer proper tools for such remote control with just one button/pedal.
I see Looper as a way to jam and if something good comes out of it, it should be possible to disassemble the jam into a song structure. At least this is how I currently work with session view, but I just currently have to activate rec manually. With looper this would be so much easier if it was possible to separate my jam-components.
