NIce! I've been wanting to sample a detuned piano for a while. I definitely would be interested in a Kontakt version as well!

It seems I'm the only one here who doesn't know how to install...I always have problems with Live Packs unless it automatically does it for me, guess I must be dumb.

What destination do I choose when prompted by the installer? I'm on Live 7.

BTW, the Flash sample player of these samples sounds great, thanks a lot.

You choose whatever destination you want? It's asking you where you want to install the content for that live pack. Your choice.

Can this be loaded into Live 6? I'm still a poor, non-upgraded fool.
Live 8 w/ EIC, XP Pro SP3, 1.8GHz Core Duo, 3GB RAM, PreSonus Firebox, Evolution MK-425c, Korg nanoKONTROL, Akai LPK25, Akai LPD8, bigger than average brain (large hats)

yeah, I'm not a fan of the way Live installs stuff.

open Live
file - install Live pack
point Live to the .alp (I put mine on the desktop Win XP)
Live installs the pack
open the .als on the desktop
file - manage Live set
on the right side, hit Manage Project
at the bottom hit Export To Library
shit, that didn't work...

OK, I have the instrument in my .als, I'll just drag it to the Sampler directory under the Live Plug Ins folder.
that worked.

YMMV. you're not alone in hating this part of Live's design.

make sure your library path is set correctly if you just got Live 8.

regarding Live 6 - nope, Live isn't backwards compatible.

OP - holy moley this thing has tons of character! thanks!!

thanks a million for this live pack. prepared piano is my cup of tea. it sounds great.

tone deft, my thoughts exactly. i'm on ableton live for years now and i never really used the 'library' concept. now, since i use live more and more often, i'm trying to get my head around it (clips, presets, library...) and it's quite a challenge, yes... installing this livepack is my first test.
