Live 8 demo...... :(

Still not convinced to move from 7 to 8 >


...For some reason I cant achieve the same ultra low latency i've had with 7 Even with exactly the same settings)

Also, for some reason live 8 does not recogise any of my MP3's. says they are corrupt etc..

Anyone else had simmilar problems?

Other features look great too but my current live 7 set up allows me to make and record music whereas trying to get live 8 to do the same had me tearing my hair out all weekend.

I've got me credit card ready for the up-grade if someone can convince me that Live 8 will 1) take my existing music collection and 2) give me the same latency live 7 did.

Otherwise I'll continue to make my tunes with Live 7.

If it's the same as the Live 7 demo, it won't read mp3's until you get the full programme.


As for latency, I've noticed no difference.

the latency thing is dependent on other variables.

it read my library, and my not ultra low latency is about the same
