Multiple Midi assignments

Hi All,
Not entirely sure how to word this, but I have a question.

I would like to use a single rotary knob, fader control, and pushbutton to control pan, volume, and solo. Here's the catch. I would like these controls to work for whichever channel is currently active/selected.

I don't know if midi mapping will allow me to work this way, but I thought it would be pretty cool to use one set of controls for whichever item I have highlighted.

Could it be done using pd or something similar?
