Disable the synchronisation in some way?

Post by Sfffen » Tue Apr 21, 2009 10:14 am

Hi guys,

I'm kind of new to Ableton, but I managed to find out a lot on my own already.
But I have a problem when using my Korg PadKontrol.

When I hit a trigger button on the PadKontrol, the sample doesn't start playing immediatly, but it 'waits' untill the bmp is synchronized (the play button keeps blinking for a while)...

I would like to have absolute control over my samples, so is there any way that I can turn this off and my samples start playing as soon as I hit the trigger pad? I'm guessing it's something really simple, but I can't seem to find it...
I already tried cranking up the main bmp-value to 999, and that sort of worked, but that can't be the solution here :)

Thanks a lot!

Sven

Hi Sven,

set the (launch) Quantization in Live´s title bar from '1 Bar' to 'None', alternatively you can set Quantization in the clip´s launch box (at the bottom of the screen) from 'Global' to 'None'.

Best,
