This is incredibly anal but I work with Live eight hours a day and it's really starting to bug me...
"Ctrl-U" used to (in version 6, which was the last version I used) just bring up the quantize dialogue, now it automatically quantizes notes to the value that was last set. The old Ctrl-U function has been moved to Ctrl-Shift-U. I can't find an option to change this - am I stuck with having to constantly use two modifier keys instead of one now?

I actually like it much better this way.
It just saves me time.

Re: Live 8.0.1 quantize shortcut
I think the point is that it should be selectable because it entirely depends on usage. Due to the work I'm doing I have to switch between 1/4 and 1/16 pretty much every time I quantize, so I always want the quantize dialogue to come up - it's that simple.
Also, I don't think it's ok to change a very common shortcut like this without offering a "legacy" option.

Yeah this one got me pissed too! I ended up assigning a keystroke on my miko to bring up the quantize settings window now, so I only need to press one button. I figured I use it alot so it justified using up a dedicated button.
But I feel your pain man. One thing you can do is get a mouse that has assignable extra buttons and make one of them ctrl+shift+U. I have a crappy $10 mouse that i've assigned shift, split, and consolidate all using the keystroke software it came with.
Also, if that's not an option try 'sticky keys' in windows. Press shift 5 times in succession and it will bring up the menu. It's also located under 'accessability' in the control panel I believe. Not sure if that will help, but it's worth a try.
