Please Abes. Would be fantastic if you could provide an update for Looper to follow the set tempo by stretching the loop instead of pitch shifting it; or at least allow us to choose between those two modes.
Hey! audio stretching is supposed to be THE Live feature after all.
Please...

Bump to this. I have no idea how possible this is, but i definitely want it. In fact I assumed it would have this. This for me is yet another thing that would set Abletons looper apart from others on the market, and personally make me weep with happiness.

I would agree if there was a possibility to choose between those two modes. I like the pitch shinfting thing because it mimicks the behaviour of my EH memory man looper pedal.

Yes, please, very much!
I was very surprised that it changed pitch on tempo change. I can understand it's mimicking a hardware sampler, but I didn't expect it out of Ableton, because that's not how Ableton clips work, by default.
I am planning on using the looper in performance and synching tempo to a drummer. I can't do this until there's an option to keep the pitch the same.

yes, learned it the hard way, been looping my bassguitar-playing on a slaved Live, and the little shifts in tempo sound baaaad when shifting the pitch.
