This is a question involving sound quality while making mixes/songs and after I finish them and turn them into a .wav file.
How do I keep the sound integrity or improve the integrity so it sounds like other finished tracks that I listen to in Windows Media Player? There is something I am missing here.
Problem with sound quality
Re: Problem with sound quality
Compression and EQing might be worth looking into

Re: Problem with sound quality
I do use both of those.
It's my sound quality on the finished product after I change its format and finish it as a project that's the real problem.

Re: Problem with sound quality
Are you using Compression and EQ on the Master Track or just the individual tracks?
Also, Mastering is what makes some of the tracks you hear on CDs etc. sound as loud as they do.
So as a do-it-yourselfer you may have to go back and add Compression and EQ to the product that you mixed down and converted to .wav. Then, you export that to a new (hopefully better).wav file.
Good Luck.

Ahhh got it.
I was not putting compression and eq on the master track.
Nice. Thank you.
