Discovered that when accessing the panel of a 3rd. party AU or VST and then pressing play to continue with Live that you have to actually click on the Live 8 interface to resume play or launching.
This was not the case with 7 and prior versions.
Definite workflow problem.
eg; tweak knob, double click back on Live to hear the sound in playback mode, click back on the plug in gui to continue changing and adjusting your sound, etc.
Not the most productive way to work with plug in's.

Just noticed this same behavior too.
MBP 2.3 GHz i5, Live 9.6.1, Push, MPD32, Rane SL2

Also, when I drag and drop a VST, the GUI does not open automatically. I have to press on the icon on the plug-in in the top-right of the Live GUI of that plug-in.
