PERFORMANCE TONIGHT - QWERTY KEYS NOT FUNCTIONING PROPERLY

My first show tonight using Ableton Live 6.0.7 and for some goddamned reason it will not respond to certain assigned keys on my QWERTY kbd! It's fine with some, and then ignores others - no reason - no other signals clashing with those assignments, MIDI or otherwise. Have tried shifted versions as well. Any clues?

Basic idea is: want to use keys in columns (chanl-1 is q, a - chanl-2 = w, s etc.) as toggles for effect send busses - simple on/off. Every vid I've seen says yes - but the ONLY keys that work properly for this are q and r! WTF??

Works FINE with MIDI for same thing, but I don't want to use MIDI for these. HELP!

MUST TURN OFF COMPUTER MIDI KEYBOARD.
