Invalid Product ID

Post by eviljoker7075 » Sun May 03, 2009 1:04 pm

Hi there. I downloaded and activated the Live 8 trial version yesterday. I have created two projects with it so far (and am very happy with the new version I must say!)

However, rather annoyingly when I close my project Live doesn't let me open it again. I can save it just fine, and render it - however when I try and open the project again I get the error message:

"Invalid Product ID". Live then proceeds to open and create a new set.

Can anyone tell me why this is happening, or if I've lost those projects for good?

Thanks.

Hello eviljoker7075,

The projects aren´t lost - it´s an unfortunate bug of Live 8.0.1.
You can send me the .als set to fix them.

best,
Christian

Awesome! Thank you :)

Isd there anything I can do to stop this happening to any new tracks I create, or things I can do to avoid it?

Thanks

It happens when you try to ungroup a drum/instrument rack where Operator is used without owning Operator.
Will be fixed ASAP.

Ah I see. So will this happen every time I close live?

Only if you try to ungroup a grouped rack which contains Operator.

Sorry, for the rather amateur question, but by that do you mean just adding a single drum to the drumm rack, as a pose to a full kit?
