sorry im new to all this and was replying to another threat i had posted,
Im trying to take a music mp3 file from my documents and put it strait into a track on live so i dont need to record the mp3 from a different sourse........... basically,can i copy and paste a music track strait to a empty audio track in live lite 6........thanks

Do not even bother with copy-paste. Within Live, just use your browser to find your mp3 file on your hard drive, then drag and drop it in a clip slot. (Ableton Live manual, chapter 5.1.5, p.35. This thing is rather handy.)
You may have to convert it into a .wav file before you can import it, as you use Live Lite 6.
