Just finished this track last night after slaving away at it for months. It's a somewhat trancey downtempo bootleg remix of Chus & Ceballos' tribal stomper "Echoes From Doruma"...have a listen and tell me what you think! I made it entirely from samples in Live 7 and 8. Wow, this is really good.
Love the bass sound, the melody, the vocals.
I haven't heard the original but this really stands on it's own. I especially liked the wobble-y(LFO?) effect on the bass in the breakdown.
Wish I had something constructive for you for this, but it sounds like you nailed this one.
