Oh. this thing looks more like it would work in a theme park for earth quake simulations. It might shake things, but i have serious doubts it can deal with short notes... i am more into those:

The Wall of Sound acted as its own monitor system, and it was therefore assembled behind the band so the members could hear exactly what their audience was hearing. Because of this, Stanley and Alembic designed a special microphone system to prevent feedback. This placed matched pairs of condenser microphones spaced 60 mm apart and run out of phase. The vocalist sang into the top microphone, and the lower mic picked up whatever other sound was present in the stage environment. The signals were added together, the sound that was common to both mics (the sound from the Wall) was cancelled, and only the vocals were amplified.

lmfao I love the wit around here.Pitch Black wrote:Great bottom end for a half-inch driver!
this exact same social disease is currently happening in austin, with the all the californians moving in.Machinesworking wrote:They moved in next to the bar, not the other way around. I'm a little touchy about this personally as Broadway/Capital Hill district in Seattle has been gutted of cool record stores, clubs etc. in favor of condos. The yuppies move in to 'cool' neighborhoods for the vibe, and slowly eliminate everything interesting or unique about the neighborhood. Happens over and over again. If there was a legitimate housing shortage in Seattle sure, but there isn't.Tone Deft wrote:yeah, put people out of their homes so you can use the space one night a week.Johnisfaster wrote:so there was this great little bar that did shows for years and years. right next door this big building gets built with expensive lofts for sale. people start buying up the lofts next to the loud little bar that was already there. people then complain to the authorities about the loud little bar THAT WAS THERE FIRST. bar has legal battles that are costly, in the end they put up a sound dampening blanket at the front door and can only have quieter acts play.
bull f***ing shit if you ask me.
the world makes me very angry sometimes.
homes are more worthwhile than clubs.
Honestly it kind of made me ill to see the Mission turning into hipster/yuppie chic and becoming less hispanic, but that's life.
