Amp envelop for each sample in SAMPLER

Please could we have a simple asdr amp env for each sample in SAMPLER . im currently writing a tune that has a xylophone in it, one part there is about 3 hits layered to make a kinda chord the problem is i get bad peaks if i could click on the "sample" tab and put a touch of attack on a few of the samples it would sort it right out im sure there is plenty of other similar situations that would benefit from this

… well i'd actually like to add:
make sampler sample editing and clip sample editing consistant… that is: bring the entire live-standard-clip-editing features [envelopes included of cause] and gui to sampler… include warping as well. thats the sampler i would have expected from ableton but was dissapointed in the first place (not even warping [time streching] from the people that sort of invented it in a DAW )
than this is what i would have hoped for in live8 but no again. too bad, really.
