Sync Two Mac's Help Please

I am in the process of trying to sync two MBP's together using an ethernet cable, I have things working of a sort. However the timing is out when I play the two metronomes. I have read lots about how you can adjust the Midi Offset. How on earth do you do this as I can't find a setting anywhere?

We are both on Live 7 running 7.0.14.

Please help, driving me up the wall!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Click on the arrow by your midi ports in preferences.
It's all in the manual as well starts on page 419.
