Is there a way to import ableton 8 samples back into 7?

Is there a way I can convet my ableton 8 samples back into 7...

I cannot use ableton 8 because of it is blowing performing set files sizes up so far that they cant be opened...
A live7 set with about 200 tracks 2000samples; 8mb.
Opened in live8 and saved after first minute (changed nothing); 13MB
After 30 min (changed nothing); 170MB unopenable

Want to go back to ableton 7 for performance.
