Crystal Dreams "Mists of Time" - more ambient less newage???

This week I've specifically avoided a melody which is probably more along the lines of traditional ambient. Or is this more newage? Opinions requested please.

So the technical focus was on clips and basic automation. I seemed to spend most of my early midi hardware days avoiding automation because it was a bit of a pain in the old version of MOTU Performer that I used to run on the old Mac. BUT not with automation lanes in Live 7 :) :) Dimension Pro, Simpler, and Sampler were the tools of choice.
