Alright People,
Just wanted to ask how everyone backs up their songs? More to the point how do you all future proof your Ableton files so that if want to come back to a song in 5 years time but no longer have all you pluggins, how do you all keep those files editable/mixable?
cheers

Re: Backing Up older Ableton Files
sounds like you'd need to freeze the tracksdan le sac wrote: come back to a song in 5 years time but no longer have all you pluggins, how do you all keep those files editable/mixable?
or not lose the plugins
Re: Backing Up older Ableton Files
Hi,
I save two versions of my older tracks. One normal, another with each track frozen, so that I'll always have the audio to play with if nothing else... That's worked fine for me from Live6 to Live8, but I don't use that many plugins...
