i´m also curious what´s going on in the background. please be so kind and provide us with that info. i particularly wanna know how the red rectangle embracing the 8x5 grid is realized.
it looks like bbuzzard isn´t on a mac. use

if you don´t know how to use midiox.

should have read it more carefully as an old linux user. unfortunately my UAD dsp card get broken today, therefore I´m a nervous wreck by the end of the day.
