Where did the timeline in sample editor go?

It's definitely not there anymore. It's crucial for Djing to know where you are in the track. And of course also when working with any kind of samples/audio files. Why is this taken away anyway??? Can't upgrade to 8 before this is back!

Ableton, please get this into the next upgrade, please pretty please

well I did search, but I guess i didn't search for the right string.

I see that these threads are for beta testers only and I can't post. Anyway, I would like to have it back, even if it doesn't show exactly the time when files are warped. I find it kind of impossible to Dj with this version, because I always use this to have a feeling of how much of the track is played.

At least now I can follow this threads and see how it goes.

i think there might be one buried in the general area as well. i know it's been a massive issue for people who dj with live (reading posts from this forum, and others)
