Mac OSX 10.2.8, Live 4..
In preferences, I choose Loop/Warp should be unwarped one shot, but when I record audio it always ends up being warped.
which then I have to go and turn off those warps individually in each clip...a pain...plus things seem to get off this way
Any help appreciated.

Seems you are right. The manual talkes about setting options for recording, mentioning warp mode but not the loop option.
In session clips will be looped and warped, in arrangement only warped.
But normally the warp would have no effect, the audio clip will have the same BMP as the set so no actual warping is applied.

For instants if I track a drum kit, then lay down a bass overdub...problems!!! that is not right? Can't do real DAW functions like that obvioulsy. There must be an answer...

Sorry, I can't tell, I even dont really know what a base overdub means in this situation. Hope someone steps in...
