Live 8 Warping for DJ'ing - My old trick won't work

I used to do the "set 1.1 here, warp from here straight" on the first kick drum, and then align the last kick of the song. this worked like a charm in previous versions of Live, with no need to add multiple warp markers.. now this trick is impossible.

does anyone know a way to achieve this with the new warping engine?

That video was REALLY helpfull, that "shift key" thing is great..

Yeah, the shift key trick is the most powerful feature that comes with the new warping workflow

Haven't visited that thread so it might have solved the problem ... you could always warp on an earlier version of Live ... the warp markers will work in later versions ... meaning your trick will still work in Live 8!!!

Also, check the site in my sig out - that'll take ALL the work out of warping
