Hey all... just got a new macbook and upgraded to Live 8.
Unfortunately my copy of live is not recognizing any of my VST's. They are in the proper folder, and I have tried re-scanning a number of different times (with alt pressed as well)
This is a fairly unfortunate and crippling error. Wonder if there are any step people can suggest...
VST Issue OS X

Welcome TheAlphaNerd,
Make sure your VST´s are intelmac compatible (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Universal_binary).

Well I have not checked the lists... but I am 90% sure they are... as they were installed off a disc that came with my external sound card. They were in the mac OSX folder.
Re: VST Issue OS X
Do a "get info" in the Finder for a specific VST. If you see "PowerPC" then you need to update, if you see "Universal" then you're ok and you have a different issue...
