FS - Blue Sky Mediadesk 2.1 monitor (+SUB system) - Sydney

Post by sweetjesus » Mon May 25, 2009 9:56 pm

G'day

Selling these babies..

Image

They are probably the best monitors you can get in their price range for mixing club music down and I've used them successfully to make/mix down over 10 charting tracks on beatport.

I'd like to sell them for approx $975 AUD or near offer. Drop me a PM :)

those cones dont look big enough for accurate bass representation. did you get a subwoofer to go with those?

Bass response isn't going to deliver what a sub would, but it's plenty for me to churn out decent mixes on them. From talking to SJ, he's getting used to it as well :)

btw, it's Focal ;)

good mixes are key, but i really really have to hear what happens between 30-40hz... i suggest a sub :)

and yes, it is focal as it seems.

Yeah, if you need to hear 30, then you'll have to get the matching sub.

the focals were doing some pretty good work in the lows.

nothing like having a sub.

however my mixes are sounding phenomenally spot on now.

I have those mediadesk 2.1 and they are bloody amazing. One of the best pieces of studio gear I have bought. Shame you are selling them, they would make a good complimentary set of monitors.
