My MIDI Mappings dont save and are confused!!! Anyone else?

Hi People. . .

I have live 8.0.1 as live 8.0.2 seems even more unstable.

I have a behringer BCF Control Surface and i have certain faders, functions etc mapped to controls.

Everytime i reopen live i have to re-map certain ones as it hasnt remembered them.

I have saved, collected and saved and save a copy and the same happens. . .

Anyone else having this problem?

they seem to save ok, but often will take a LONG time to 'pick up' the signal. i.e. i will assign it in midi pick up mode, return to normal mode and then when i try to use the control - a fader, say - there is a notice in a green bar at the bottom that says "track volume awaiting pick up" - this is only visible while i am sliding the fader. sometimes it will pick up quite fast, and other times it can take 30secs +. worse is that even once it has picked up the signal it can lose it without warning. this is quite unacceptable.

this is happening to me now too with Live 8.03, which I downloaded on my laptop after re-installing Mac OS 10.5. This is really annoying as I now have to go through each controller before the "...is awaiting pickup" message in yellow on the bottom bar of the screen goes away. Then sometimes the program forgets the mappings and I have to do it again. Not cool, I have a series of gigs starting in a couple of days and having a functioning controller is vital.

Please fix this soon!!!

BTW up until 3 days ago I was using what I presume to be 8.0, whatever the first release version was, with no problems.
