how about a similar plug that will let us do the effects seen in the apc40 mashup vid? Anyone know of another plug comparable to Lucifer?

The only one i'm aware of that i've used to similar levels of destruction is Beatlookup for Reaktor, obviously that means you need to own Reaktor first, it's advantage would be a couple of extra effects, wind down etc. but ultimately it's totally reprogrammable....

I'd still be using it if it wasn't the fact that my presets got corrupted when i changed across to LIve 8 hence i searched out lucifer and that's what seemed to suit the APC the best as you see in the video....

Part Two coming soon!

never used lucifer, so I'm not arguing but put 2 of the kammerl slicers in a row in a rack with some macros and I have created about 30 different re-arrangement patterns that rock like a mofo so I stopped looking for re-cut/glitch plugs.

As someone mentioned, Beatlookup was also used in the apc demo vid.

For a good comparable plugin to Lucifer in terms of glitch/stutter edits, and other effects that can be assigned to midi keyboard keys, have a look at Sugar Bytes Artillery 2. Pretty good plugin, especially for live performance usage.

Also already mentioned, you can still obtain Lucifer directly from Steve Duda, who is still selling and maintaining it.
