it will be so good to be able to have another sound source opening the gate. for example: have a drum loop triggering the gate on another channel that plays anything from a synth pad to am radio signal. another important option will be a filter that will control which freq will trigger the gate.
please ableton! this option can only be found in logic gold and pro, and pro tools. as far as i know there arn't any pluggins that have this great option.
when i was using my old g3 powerbook (RIP
) with protools free, i was using it alot. it gives such a nice texture.
