I think AD Reverence is sooooo far away from emulating those units...
really wanted to like it... but it sucks...

Another shout for PSP Easyverb...great sound, low cpu hit, no endless fucking about...great.

Just got the Breverb special edition too....biggest no-brainer of the year at 5 bucks. Sounds tremendous if you're a plate/room fan (which I use almost exclusively over MASSIVE halls)

RE: Reverence.
It's a plate reverb, it works. Honestly I use it more than the others For the simple reason that I don't require much reverb in most of my songs, and when I do I just need a little.

Big beautiful reverbs are cool, but my music is mostly warped rock, driving, and fairly busy, not much room for big lush reverbs.

There are very few emulations that IMO come even close to the original, FM7 was one, but that's about it.

Dont think anyone has mentioned SIR2 (http://www.knufinke.de/sir/sir2.html) great convolution reverb which can run with zero latency so you can use it when tracking... it is also much cheaper than altiverb...
I picked up the L96 and T600 impulses from http://www.samplicity.com/ for a winning package..
