screw those plugins.

pieces of crap those are. i only use them if the original recording sucks basswise. if you have to use those, you're doing it wrong.

Wow. This thread is starting to look like something out of the comments section on youtube.

And i don't give a dam who you are.

Hell, to be honest, i don't even think you can play an instrument.
I bet you spend 3 hours to record a midi drum track just because you can't play the bass drum and hi-hats with 2 fingers in the same time. So you spend 3 hours overdubbing.

At least i'm an accomplished musician/composer with a steady fan base.

I wonder who's the noob here...

I might be new to Ableton, true, but that's what this site is for, not just just for people who have 15000 posts.

Who are you????

Get lost.
no you're not, you're a child. read your post.

you master everything you do for laptop and cell phone? bullshit.
I master everything to sound good on anything.
So i guess Waves are dumb for creating Rbass and MAXXbass, just because you're right and you have 15000 posts on the Ableton forum.

I bet you would make a great assistant for Dave Pensando. He'll probably bitch-slap you and fire you the next day.
most of your posts are personal attacks on me, nice attitude asshole. clearly you're completely insecure and have mental issues. way to go champ, everyone knows you're a twat from the getgo, welcome to the forum.

I couldn't give a shit about my post count or your ego. the only thing I hate more than experimental jazz fusion are the chin stroking twats that make it. it's music to shit your Depends to, BOOOORING!! I don't care about your background, you're giving retarded advice and you're a complete asshole to boot. the OP clearly understands the value of 'grot boxes' and why they're used, but arrogant assholes like yourself insist on this bullshit 'holier than thou' approach where everything is oh-so serious.

ultimately plug ins don't make shit sound good, good recordings make audio sound good. if you need to use that crap you're doing it wrong to begin with.

if your tune ends up on a cell phone, it will get remastered.

anyone who listens to music on a laptop for its quality should have their ear drums removed. it's a retarded scenario to begin with. it's a perfectly good question but you've single handed turned this into a really lame thread.

Huh? Does it really take that long? Hell I just draw em in and loop it. Takes about 3 minutes with a snare to boot.

what's clip view again?

why do you feel you have to resort to personal attacks? that's what children do.

I'm no moderator, I'm just as worthless as yourself except I'm able to discuss audio without waving my dick all over the forum. you think you've been civil in this? you should be ashamed of yourself.

the idea that you master everything you do for clubs and cell phones equally is retarded.

judging what you've done to this thread is another topic altogether, you don't want to go there.

Sorry Night Spirit

I haven't been any help to your thread. I was just astonished shortly after I arrived.

I'm gonna have to roll with emef on this one though...

I'm able to discuss audio without waving my dick all over the forum. you think you've been civil in this?
1- Here's a quote from your very civil reply that started all this :

"my bet is the OP is much further ahead than tdwctdwc. he talks like he masters ALL his songs for phone and craptop"
this how it all started.

So i wonder who's resorting to personal attacks and who's not being civil in this 8O

2- the OP question was about making his bass sound good on laptop speakers.
What i suggested was use Maxbass.
What you suggested : nothing.
Instead, you were bored, found out that i don't have that many posts on this forum = let me attack tdwctdwc instead.

3- i never said that i make my music for laptop speakers or cellphones .
lol, definatly not my music, maybe yours ?

4- If you read all this thread for the beginning, you'll see that i DID NOT attack or insulted anyone, until you came in and poured your street manners on.

I urge to read your posts and look for yourself and see who started this and who insulted the other.
you're still completely off topic and sticking with the personal attacks!! how old are you that this matters to you? you're insisting that I engage you in an interweb flame war.

OK, I'll go back and look. I have time to kill. :D

I can promise you one thing, I did not 'attack' you because of your post count. if there's one thing I've learned it's to not judge someone by their post count (your big problem here), some n00bs are amazing and nice guys. I only jumped in due to your insistence that everything be mastered for laptops, cell phones and club systems equally. that kind of impossible, dogmatic idiocy generally comes from wide eyed n00bs. a pro or someone who's been around the block has more grounded, balanced views.
