is it still possible to buy Live 5 anywhere??
Hi there
I've been using an old demo of Live 5 and am loving it, really want to buy a full copy. My computer struggles running 5 - can just about manage it without gaps in the audio as long as nothing else is running - so there doesn't seem any point in getting a newer version. Also my budget is extremely limited and I have far from exhausted the features available in 5 anyway. But I can't find a copy anywhere - second hand or new (are copies permanently registered to one computer? seems strange that nobody is selling a copy).
SO does anyone know if / where I can find a copy of Live 5?
cheers!

If I remember well 6 is much lighter on the CPU because it was a rewrite so try the demo of that.

And as for buying 5 or 6, I think eBay would probably be your best bet, besides this forum.

Quoting this. My Macbook ran Live much, much better when I upgraded from the UB of version 5 (whatever version that was) to version 6.djsynchro wrote:If I remember well 6 is much lighter on the CPU because it was a rewrite so try the demo of that.
