Crumpler Bags are excellent- I use one for my camera gear but they have several laptop options as well.

Also, tombihn.com has some cool bags.

You should be able to find something that will also hold your MPC but make sure you buget space for all the extra crap (cables, hard drive, pwr supply, headphones, etc...).

Maudio Studio Backpack. Holds my lappie, quattro, oxy 8, powerstrip and all necessary wires. I can fit my uc16 in there with everything as well but it is a litle snug. Unfortunately it wont fit my jbl and my mixer........ but I still like it. It's a tough little bag, well built. I also use it for school cuz I usually take my laptop to class. I think I paid like $70 us for it from zzounds or whatever it is.

I can't reccomend Timbuk2 enough. I bought mine 3 years ago and have used and abused it almost every day since (i think there were maybe five days where i didn't use it in that three years) and the damn thing looks almost brand new. I've never had a zipper/strap/clip/seam/anything so much as show wear, let alone break, and if it did, I could just send it back to the factory and they'd repair it for free.. Seriously, don't bother with anything else...get a Timbuk2. Anything else is a waste of money.

Get a Timbuk2.

No, stop looking over there, go get a Timbuk2.

No. Timbuk2.

Nope.

Get a Timbuk2.

Timbuk2.

I got a Samsonite one, cheaper than the M-Audio one, and a lot more padding all around. Very comfortable, you could wear it all day without getting sore. Ebags.com has then very cheap:

It'll fit bigger laptops than it says it will, my 15.4" HP fits in there with no problem and room to spare.

I have a gravis bag not the exact same model but close.... Best pack I have bought .... Nice and confy stylish and good design.... I can fit the following 15 notebook, portable 3.5" hard drive, BC2000, headphones, power supplys, cables, mouse.... Other scenario, 15 notebook, portable 3.5" hard drive, FW410, power bar , head phones cables, mouse... I looked at the Maudio and it was not so great ok for fitting a 12" powerbook but if you want to go to a bigger power book it won't fit.... I bought mine at a Mac Dealer....

I second the M-Audio Bag. My 15inch Dell Inspiron8600 fits perfectly and there is still room for my Echo IndigoDJ card, which is my main concern. There is still room for a Uc33e, Maxtor HDD, power supplys, a power strip, and cables. And it looks cool too!

So, what would the conversion rate be like. Japanese Yen to US Dollars?
