Can you use the APC 40 with full control and Novation Remote SL with Automap 3.0 at the same time?

Not sure what you mean by "full control". I had no problems working the Novation Remote 25SL with automapping at the same time as the APC 40. No glitches that I saw.

I'll try locking control surfaces to see if two different plug-ins could be operated by each at the same time.

Thanks, that's what I'm interested in. By 'full control' I meant full controller functionality, using the APC 40 as a control surface. Sounds like it works. Good.

Me either.. everything works as is.... it is great to lock the SL to various instruments while working in the studio....

Also I am sure everyone has.. but be sure to do the lesson with the APC.... there are like 2 or 3 little things in it that really clears everything up..

I created a MIDI layout of the APC40 so people can see the note and CCs the controller puts out along with their respective channel.

I have a problem with transport buttons on the APC 40, they just doesnt work, i tried everything

hey thanks for putting in the time to make this map. the note assignment to clip launch buttons was not something I thought about at all!

soooo, if you have a track armed to record, a vst loaded on that track, and midi inputs set to All/the APC for that track, will it cause my VST to play notes using the APC clip launch buttons, kind of like a 40 button drumpad would? Or does the proprietary APC magical handshake filter out the playing of notes with the clip launch matrix?

Got mine today, and I am really satisfied, but one question, maybe Jesse can answer this: Does Akai plan Expander, like Mackie, for Example only the left half of the APC (Matrix and Faders) or isn't anything to see like this?
