APC40 track stop clip button doesnt work when clip blinking

live 8.0.3

So here's the situation:
no clips in track are playing.
Hit a clip to play it
while its flashing waiting for next global quantization, hit the track stop clips button for that channel. Mind you, that dedicated one for all clips in a channel at the bottom.
Doesn't stop it. It will play

Tried same thing with a stop clip inside the channel and that works.
