Got it sorted now - Aggregate Device was the keyword :D
Oh, and don't worry - I have to run everything through Live for monitoring both mixers at the same time - NOT dumping our favorite Program 8)

nevermind, we often think "shit, why didn't we move to Berlin". BCN is expensive and snobbish, the homies are nationalist fuckers and the musicscene is weak, nearly no underground, most of the nice clubs and places got closed in recent years. They have here like 25 clubs with live-music-licence in total in a city 1,5 million!
And the humidity kills you. Three-shirts-a-day in summer.

and in berlin you have 150 clubs + playing all the same shit music, on mainly super bad soundsystems, with crap bars and mega unfriendly staff and rotten filthy toilets, nice.

about 150.000+ DJs without a job, living like rats who wank all the time how cool berlin's music scene is. and place packed generally with loosers... that is a berlin flava many love, because you can still feel like you are someone, sitting all day in a cafe and talking shit. (berlin is sooo... cheap that any looser can live here and do nothing... getting away with it) shite weather... ahhh well i leave it, i moved back to the wrong place, and i still hate it after being now nearly a year back... it just sucks! and i need to change it, i am unhappy here.

it's the living quality i am after, not the music, a good friend of mine (funkd'void) is living in BCN and works, if you are really good (understanding the business side!) you work in music no matter where you live... that is exactly the miss conclusion about berlin, everyone thinks if you want to make it in electronic music DJ-ing go to berlin and now the city is full of un-employed musicians and DJs and the musicians get on your nerves busking in the tube... you can't hardly do a single ride without someone extremely untalented is getting on your nerves with his instrument he can't play.

my very personal opinion... i moved away (i was born here) over 10 years ago, because it was already shit back then... and i was sooo... stupid to come back because i thought [hoped] it changed in that fairly long time... but it didn't the city only got a bit shinier from the outside in the east part, that's all.

Pepe- Great setup! I enjoyed your sounds that were on Puremagnetik a while back, great work...thanks for sharing! My sister in law will be arriving in Barcelona later today, staying for a week...she is studying in London and has some vacation and will be staying the week with some friends of hers living in Barcelona. She is a huge music fan, do you have anywhere I might recommend her to visit while she's there?

By the way, I love Barcelona....the architecture, the history of it's urban planning, the beautiful people you see walking la rambla! Your studio space location sounds prime. Peace!

Nice patio, Pepe. This morning I was dreaming about having a practice space on the second floor with a nice sunny patio.

::sighs::

Spain seems rad.

+1 for moog.

brilliant under the week.

also i like the IT cafe... [+34 934 430 341, joaquin costa 4, 08001 barcelona...
nothing special interior wise, but good party crowd, after a visit there you always know where the real action is. check if a belgium barman called guy grandfils still works there... he knows what is hot and what not in bcn.
i also like the tapas bar culture, the architecture and the food, the wine, the sun, the ocean... damn it's a beautiful place.

F*%k the underground music scene... it's quality of live! and making good music and exporting good music you can do from anywhere...

@ pepezabala

i can literally smell the ocean if i see your studio... it's beautifull... i am JELOUS!

god, yeah the rest of germany i don't even speak about or recognise at all, to me it simply does not exist, germany? wtf!!! it's such a stiff ugly shit!

berlin is still by the means of galaxies the only place you can consider to live in! still does not make it any good, and i lived in other german towns before i left the country and know what i am talking about (incl. munich)

oh yes i am frustrated BIG TIME and it's my fault, i blame myself that i went back!!! (my girlfriend loves it, though... )

I' d say choose very carefully where to live in Berlin. Avoid the East, full of ugly Schwaben (rural people from south-west germany), hyped and now boring as s*** with everyone looking the same. Totally mono-cultural. I'd recommend the older classic Bezirke (districts) like Kreuzberg and Schöneberg. They're grown, you must not feel sad when you're over 30, enough places to sit and talk shit...like subfunk so nicely explained...:-)
