But you're saying this with the presumption that a person coming into this country illegally is committing an amoral act. You are implying that the man made laws that forbid free entrance are somehow moral a priori.
DrXparaMental wrote:Isn't it funny how predictable the reaction is to this issue? Everyone seems so certain I am racist. (ROTFLMAO!!) That's why I am married and in love with an immigrant woman (now a US citizen) who gave me the most incredible life change a looser could ever hope for eh? (please! drop the sex change jokes before they begin, k?)
I was going to use the ol' mail order bride since a lot of white weirdos seem to prefer that type of immigration

Also, the whole some of my best friends are.... trip is as predictable as our bleeding heart liberal crap.

Unless you were black, Native American, a witch, etc.. I think they intended to create a white christian nation, hmmm. But what do I know, I'm gettin' fiddled right now by the powers that be.

DrXparaMental wrote: What a joke the pseudo actuated politically subversive poser "in style starbucks clique" can be. You got it all figured out. Charming bunch really. I bet if we all hunker down and just nod our heads in affirmation, they might even let us attend their annual super secret stairway to subculture success pow wow next weekend. Hosted by none other than the biggest proponent of illegal immigration the US has ever known or supported. That's right boys and girls, it's none other than George W. Bush, our ex commander and cheese.

Don't kid yourselves you bunch of well meaning, sympathetic nitwits! Democracy depends on a FULL populous count and EQUAL representation. The more illegals there are, the less potent the representation is. The more divided our real symptomatic responsive interests are, the more "they" (corporate power bases) remain in control. Until the morons who throw their little know it all hands up in frustration and go "but I ain't gonna vote, it won't make a difference! I'll write in Mickey Mouse or my Aunt Gertrude before I do that.", things will not change.

You're fucking yourselves, and HARD. The more this country remains divided by ground level powerless special interests, the more so powerless it's representation of the very issues you are most concerned with will remain. The system will continue to support the tiny and incredibly powerful elite's special interest. (people like the aforementioned Junior Bush).

No, eliminating illegal immigration will not solve all the problems, but it will sure be a step in the direction our forefathers intended when the constitution was first drawn up. It was a system that depended on equal representation and a non sub divided interests of a common legitimate citizenry. It was a system to stop the elite from gaining control of the show like they have now because of ground level confusion due to an overt division of common interest.

They (the present powers that be) have played your sympathies like a fiddle and you are presently dancing beautifully for them and don't even know it. Go green!
i don't assume you are a racist, however you do seem to be overflowing with classic nationalistic fervour...

you seem to think you are rather radical and hyper-intelligent, yet you propose that the ideas of the founding fathers are the solution?

your (very vague) ideas are Marxism 101 with a shotgun...

OR FEMALE. that's half the population FFS.

if you were gay you were practically dead. yeah, society was really advanced back then.

secondly I do not go into other peoples' homes and call it shit. everyone is different, people are genuinely happy to live all over the planet. live a year in their shoes, you might be happier. I don't live life thinking I know it all and can judge everyone's environment. it's a huge world with infinite perspectives you can't know them all.

given the choice, yes I'd rather live in the US than Mexico. I hear ya, I maybe wouldn't be so heavy handed about the judgments. I don't wish to argue or judge people, just ideas.
Listen man, I agree. But I'm not in mexico right now, talking shit about mexico. Ive travelled throughout the entire world, and when I'm in a country I refuse to shit on it while I'm there for simple politeness sake. While I'm there I make the most of it. I remember when I was in peru, there was some dude from Florida who would NOT stop talking shit, and we all wanted to fucking bury his ass there. Yeah when I came home I was glad to be in a place that I could find ice cubes, cheeseburgers, and corn with "normal" (U.S.) kernels on it. I try to make the most of it in Mexico too, but damn near every time I just could not get over the idea of how shitty the experience of it always is. Nor am I making judgments about the entire mexican population. I have issues with certain aspects of their culture, but that is not a judgment of people's character. I have issues with many aspects of my own culture too. I dont see what is wrong with having criticisms of things, it is from unfavorable characteristics that evolution progresses. If we cant say "man this country sucks" then nothing will change. If we cant say "man this other country sucks for x and y reasons" then we wont be able to identify things to PREVENT here. Its the same with music, politics, and cultures as well. I refuse to hold back my criticisms, no matter what it may be of, because I am attempting to identify a problem that should be fixed in order to make the world a better place by either changing that problem there or preventing it here
do you really think the world would be a better place if everyone on this planet lived the way you do, eating cheeseburgers and "normal" corn, washed down with an ice-cold Coke?

does a higher "standard of living" and 900 breakfast cereals to choose from result in greater happiness and fulfillment as a human being? there's a lot of big issues you haven't even begun to take in yet...

and you've travelled throughout the "entire world"? you got a DIY teleporter or what?

Hey, there's none of that mono minded, BS tone in what I am stating bro. No one is for more diversity in personal freedom than I am. I'm just not for one group of people here hiding, and one group of people there hiding, and for another group of people hiding behind those people's bushes, clutching tightly to the baseball bat of hate, and waiting for those people to be themselves so that they can fearfully hate them more.

You can't hope to fairly win a poker game with half the deck up each of the player's sleeves. The cards need to be in hand or on the table and the illegal immigration issue is just one more card that's hidden up some politician's or special interest group's sleeve.

Are you HONESTLY believing that I am dropping my wife's "name" here.? Dude, that's beyond silly. It's just life and it happens to be my life so I draw on it for experience's sake. What, do you think I when I state that I love Hendrix and consider him the most influential rock musician that ever lived, it's because he was black?

Man, you got me on that one. :D

Listen my friend, there is so much more in play here other than the race issue. So much more.

I don't even own a gun, nor do I drink, but I know you were being funny. Just understand that it's not about some low level redneck mentality. It's about a real and desperate need for continuity, not uniformity.

I am sorry that things are not going well for you right now. I really am.

We are both silly for thinking this conversation will have any effect. You adore Hendrix; well, so do I. There, some common ground. We'll take leave on that note. Listen to "Drifting," by Hendrix, tonight. That will be my well wish for you, so there will be no useless negative feelings.

drex I agree with some of your points when they are boiled down to the simplest forms but your such a douche of grand proportions I cant agree with you because your ideas are so muddled twisted and unclear is boggles my mind to think of you as anything other than a former/current hard drug user, abused possibly anally violated child.
