Wow! Thanks for this, I'm gonna give it a shot a bit later after work.

Is it possible to turn Monome mode on and off? So you could be jamming on a set in regular APC mode, then switch to Monome mode for a bit and have some fun, then switch back?

your Welcome. Its in the works. probably going to be something like clicking SHIFT + Pan ( to enter monome mode ) then Shift + send a to jump back to apc mode. someone also mentioned using the sustain pedal input to toggle between the two.

Are you using Monome Serial? Within Monomeserial, one can set the control row depending on the Monome's cable. If it is set to "Left, It might put the control row on the wrong side.

Try the corresponding buttons on the sides to see what triggers.

Might I also suggest using the MLR AES edit. It has more groups and pattern recorders.

in case anyone wants to know why using the APC as a monome would be worth the effort, watch these videos. Monome + MLR + talent = greatness.

don't know why the pattern recorder isn't working. what version of MLR are you using? with the aes version you have to click the 7th pad on the first row to toggle over to the pattern recorders page. This pad will start blinking when you are in that page. Then I believe its the first four buttons to record patterns. check out the help file in the aes version. it will explain everything there.

Very cool work. I really wish Live had a "button press recorder" like MLR. Perhaps when M4L comes out.

Thats an Idea. Its just a switch of the outgoing OSC messages. Request Noted.

for button recorder - check out 7up Live. It has a button press recorder for Live.

hmm.. I had trouble trying to get this to work tonight. Perhaps its because I'm using the wrong prefixes and don't know how to tell what a monome app's osc prefix is or perhaps because I'm using a mac. The only thing I was able to do was change the colors on my buttons.

None the less I think this is a step in the right direction and I'm going to continue to monitor the development. Hopefully it will get a bit easier to configure in the future.
