why do the sampler filters squeak?

i noticed that the filters in sampler leave squeaky artifacts that are especially noticeable on LFO modded bass sounds (which i love and use in many of my songs).

i'd really love to know a way around it...

now that i've noticed it, i can hear it in all my older tunes and it makes me a sad panda.

hurrah! someone else has noticed! thought it was just a weird glitch only on my machine.
it's not the filter, though - its the 'shaper' that does it (sine mode). i noticed it about a year ago when i was messing with the shaper and the filters, and kept hearing that zipping high pitched squeak thing when lfos or adsr modulations were used. totally ruins the sound. i actually thought it was my edirol keyboard's keys squeaking when i played them for a while.

after getting a reply about the shaper being fixed in another thread, its one of the first things i checked when the 8 beta came along.

just been messing with the filters in Sampler again and i was wrong about the Shaper being the cause - the filters squeak even when it's off.

here's an audio clip

at 14 seconds i start increasing the LFO1 freq ('Filter' slider set to 24).
that's when you can hear the same zippy digital squeak that you're getting.

not good

any chance it'll be fixed in the final 7 at all?
