got home from 3 week tour at 8 am, was trying to sleep, a knock on the door...
the new thing on the left showed up...i had forgotten it was arriving today

old thing to the right (tape machine) is a nice balance.
sorry about the crap pic, my camera got lifted at a gig in san fran

think i'll clean this mess up and re post since i'll be home for a bit...

I like the Powermate a lot. I use it in Arrangement view, set up as follows:

Scroll right zooms in on the timeline
Scroll left zooms out of the timeline

I've got the same mapping for Logic, with the addition that Press+Scroll zooms in/out vertically on the waveforms.

It's also nice for Final Cut.

I'm not sure if you can do the "click on a control and change the value" thing - my speculation is no, but I haven't tried it.

I'm still only a student, so no big budget studio for me. But I don't mind cos having a lot of equipment around just makes me nervous (I used to have more hardware). Ableton changed all that. This little setup helps me be productive and creative at the same time.

Thanks! Buffer size is set at 188 samples with an overall latency of 12.9ms. Running Massive sometimes can give me some clicks, other than that it's running beautifully.

My cat liked my previous banjo music much more than my current passion for strange sounds from Mr. Alias and rudimentary drumming. But my current setup allows me to fulfill my one man band dream.

Currently monitoring is through a small stereo system through the KB37s outs.

@ 4.33 I would recommend Line 6's KB37. They even survived a major plumbing incident.

Great to see APC and BCR side by side.
That's given me a much beter idea of the size of APC.
Basically same as BCR in width and depth, but rises less from the table - would that be about right?
