Hi. Me and two friends have a gig in about three weeks. The two guys are mixing on two CDJ`s and a mixer (don`t know what type of mixer yet),
and i want to make an improv on a M-audio Oxygen midi keyboard. The improv would consist of a selection of preselected samples, effects and so on,
played at the same time with the main out/CDJs. So, they have 2 channels on the mixer and the headphone slot. I have an M-audio
Fast Tack USB that has one small jack and 2 RCA output and a Macbook with Ableton. The thing that i don`t know how to do is : how can listen my
samples/what i`m playing before it goes out on a 3rd channel, just like the headphone slot on the mixer. The ideal thing would be to have the
3rd channel all up/full volume (so that i don`t interfere with the guys) on the mixer and on the midi keyboard two assigned faders, one
to controll the overall volume of my channel and one to controll the headphone thingie (just like mixing old school on two players
and one mixer).Thanks!
