So far...misery with Live 8.

Live 8.0.4 will not read Alchemy, Morgana, RMV and several others...the VST scanner hangs up all the time on these. The program won't "End Now" or "End Process" when I try to kill it. It is sluggish, unresponsive, and very hard to deal with. Loading Dimension Pro and several other plug-ins simply terminates the program, which again, doesn't die in the Processes in the task manager...

I am on Vista, btw...

Hi Trusty,

please try running Live with administration rights (right-click the Live .exe file, choose the administration rights in Properties).
Also: are your versions of the plugs up to date?

All versions of plug-ins current. Everything works flawlessly in Live 7.
