APC & Line 6 Gearbox - Incompatible?

Hi,

This is a question about the Line 6 Gearbox plugin (working with a podXT) and what seem to be incompatibilities with it and the APC40. I've already worked with Line 6, and they have no idea what to do.

I've used Gearbox in Live for over a year now. I just got the APC 40, and now Gearbox is unstable. It was stable before this. If I actually try to manipulate Gearbox from device control on the APC40, the system immediately crashes. If I don't touch those knobs, sometimes Gearbox works just fine (I change parameters with the mouse, just as in the past), or it simply fails to play the effect that it should be playing. This issue is intermittent, and seems to be unrelated to any of my software/studio settings. Am I missing something that I could try, or could this be an incompatibility related to either the APC40 or the new Ableton software patch that allows me to run it in Live 7. I think it is 7.016.

Additional info: I had a bad experience with Podstudio (latency that never went away despite much research and problem-solving) leading me to send it back for a refund, so I am not excited about upgrading to that product.

Not sure if this is related but I had an issue with gearbox on PPC mac, only with Live 7. Whenever I touched a main control, like different amp model live just crashed.

Line 6 accepted the bug was in gearbox. Eventually Line 6 released PodFarm, which was a free upgrade for me. This fixed the problem.

Your problem might be different because I could never get gearbox working at all. Still, might be worth a look
