Suite 8 Installation Question

Hey guys-

Quick question for you. Today I ordered the boxed version of Suite 8 (used to have a 7 license, but I had to sell it when finances were not so good). I am also getting a new iMac today. I am nervous that I won't get Live before the weekend, and then I won't have anything to run on my shiny new Mac, and we all know that's no good.

So my question: if I download/install the 14-day demo and use it until my serial arrives, will I be able to authorize it and install all the extra stuff from the boxed version on top of it, or will I have to do a full clean install from the boxed DVD to get all the extra stuff properly installed/authorized? (I assume the version I will have on the disc will be outdated anyway).

I think you will be able to authorize the demo with your serial.

Then you'll update files with DVD's from the box you are going to receive.

I guess it's the way it's meant to work.

Maybe ask to the customer care to be sure

Ok, cool. Seems like that would make sense, but you never know. Anyway, I am downloading the demo version as I type, so I will just have to see. Thanks for the help!
