Reaktor and Ableton Live problem, continued

Hi Folks,

i use NI Reaktor in nearly all of my tracks but the app crash issue is buggin me.

If i use Reaktor i get an crash and ableton hangs. I cannot shutdown the Live process in taskmanger.

My Setup is:
Ableton Suite 8
Reaktor 5.1.5
XP SP3
M-Audio Delta 1010LT

I think thats not a problem of my system, i can reproduce that on other machines but i#ve try a new install of my whole desktop and now the issue returns

Im not a noob, so i think thats 100% host related. cubase or logic (the old 5 version) dont has this issue but i dont use this and i dont need to switch between applications. im a 99% ableton live user!

It could be your system does not have the power to run Reaktor in Live. Both are system resource hungry apps. I use Live 8 (not suite) and Reaktor all the time with esembles containing many instruments and effects and never had a crash.

thanks for your reply. I think the PC power is still enough, with one Fatcat i have 10%.

can you tell us, what special actions cause Reaktor and Live to crash, or do the crashes occur with specific ensembles? For us, Reaktor 5.1.5 is running fine on Win XP, SP3
